A striking chain comprised of sections of triple twist rose gold links interspersed with niello paperclip links.

The niello, a metallic alloy combined with sulphur and fused to a silver base , creates a distinctive burnished lustre.

The original ring clasp is also decorated with bands of niello.

This technique has its roots in the mists of time and, due to its incredible endurance, was often used to decorate the hilt of a sword.
