A style of ring popularised during the Victorian period with Navette literally meaning “ little boat “.

The style was believed to elongate the finger and flatter the hand.

This lovely version features 15 graduated Old Mine Cut Diamonds, grain set on a yellow gold under rail with scroll split shoulders a tapered half round band.

Circa 1890.

Good condition commensurate with age. 

Metal: Acid tests for 18ct yellow gold.

The half-round band tapered from 2.32mm to 2.19mm at the back.            

Stones: Old Mine Cut diamonds (Estimated and Graded in the setting )
