Early Victorian Gold, Pearl and Emerald ring
A very pretty French antique pearl and diamond, daisy ring.
A small natural claw set emerald is surrounded by 6 seed pearls set in a rub-over setting with a closed-back typical of the late Georgian, early Victorian period.
The decorative scroll and open split shoulders are joined to a half round band.
There is some minor rubbing on the emerald and some small natural imperfections on the surface of the pearls.
Metal: Tests for 14ct gold.
Stones: Natural emerald and seed pearls. Emerald approximate: 0.65mm diameter.
The pearls are 6 x 0.63mm approximately.
