Early Victorian Gold, Pearl and Emerald ring
A very pretty French antique pearl and diamond, daisy ring.
A small natural claw set emerald is surrounded by 6 seed pearls set in a rub over setting with a closed-back typical of the late Georgian, early Victorian period.
The decorative scroll and open split shoulders are joined to a half round band. The gold is acid tested for 14 ct.
There is some minor rubbing on the emerald and some small natural imperfections on the surface of the pearls.
Metal : Tests for 14ct gold.
Stones : Natural emerald and seed pearls.
Emerald is approximately: 0.65mm in diameter.
The pearls are 6 x 0.63mm approximately.
