Georgian carnelian and seed pearl ring
This lovely old ring has a mellow patina and colouring reflective of its age.
At almost 200 years old the pearls are beautifully matched with a soft grey lustre and the cabochon carnelian is a delightful rich burnt toffee colour.
The closed-back setting feels lovely on the finger and the simple d- band shank completes the look.
The shank was probably added at a later date but is sturdy and can be sized up or down to suit any finger.
