Victorian 15ct back and front Gold engraved locket
This 15ct locket has intricate engraving to the front and back.
The front has a cartouche in the middle that could be engraved with initials or left plain.
The back’s completely engraved with a decorative ivy leaf pattern. Ivy was used as a symbol of immortality and also everlasting love.
The locket dates to 1860 and has the original generous bale for a chain.
Metal tests 15ct to the back and front. Interior structure metal.
Height: excluding bale 3.5cm with bale 4.5cm
Condition good with one original gold photo holder to the interior.
