This coiled snake bangle is a wonderful example of Serpentine jewellery popularised by the Victorians, representing eternal love.

This quality piece is stamped made in Germany. Circa 1925

The realistically modelled serpent’s head is joined to a spring coil body to grip the wrist.

The snake’s tail is etched with scales.

Beautiful quality and in excellent condition but for a smaller wrist.
