A very striking large shell cameo with skilfully carved classical figures and beautifully detailed draping fabrics.

The brooch is marked Borricello. The cameo is set in a plain scooped mount with a decorative rope twist border.

A spring pin catch and a silver safety chain complete the piece.

This piece is in very good condition commensurate with age.
