One for the sophisticated collector, exquisite and deceptively plain, Pinchbeck earrings.

An alchemists amalgamation of copper and a dash of zinc creates this collectable metal.

The facet cut rectangular amethyst glass or “ paste” is closed covered at the back to intensify the colour. Circa 1840

The earrings are attached with the original shepherd hooks for a feminine swing and dangle.

Weight: 1.1 gm each earring.

Dimensions: Top of hook to bottom of paste 1.6cm. Width of paste .75cm  Height : 1cm
