A very decorative Sterling Silver fob medallion Hallmarked for Birmingham 1901.

A stylised crown is perched on top of a decoratively embellished Maltese Cross, a symbol of protection and honour.

The unmonogrammed shield allows the fob to be personalised with initials .The back is plain apart from a set of crips hallmarks.

A good sized jump ring attaches to the very top allowing it to be suspended to a swivel or chain.

Originally intended to be an accessory for a gentleman’s fob or pocket watch chain, these award medallions translate well into modern times as an interesting  pendant.

In very good condition.
