A striking Antique silver locket.

The front is engraved with a scroll work background that surrounds a skilfully crafted and mounted bow and arrow.

The fletching /feather base is set with turquoise whilst the arrow head contains a small cabochon garnet.

This Cupids bow and arrow symbolises “love on target” and represents being struck by the force of true love.

The back of the locket is plain.

Inside the locket is a perspex covered picture space with the original silver frame.

The hinge is sound and the locket closes securely. 

 Condition commensurate with age. I noticed there is a small repair visible near the arrow head. I think this was done when reattaching the arrow. A very old repair Price reflects this
