A striking graduated banded agate necklace with facet cut crystal spacers.

The 33 agate beads are largely brown tones with milky white banding and rich and glossy in texture.

Popularised during the Victorian period when Queen Victoria”s love of Scotland was immortalised wth creation of a huge range of Scottish hard stone jewellery.

The necklace has recently been restrung and the original clasp has been replaced with a secure barrel twist clasp.
