A classically beautiful graduated, individually knotted Akoya pearl necklace with a decorative silver and marcasite clasp containing two half pearls.

The marcasite clasp is marked 935 for Swiss Silver,a slighter higher grade of silver from the 925 purity of British Sterling silver.

The clasp is a European hook box clasp and the necklace has a silver safety chain. The pearls have a lovely lustre and are of a light cream colour.

Composition: 74 graduated Akoya pearls, hand-knotted between.

The pearls are off round and vary in size from 7.50mm diameter to 3.40mm.

The colour is light cream. the surface is clean with a few small, natural blemishes.

Length of necklace 47 mm.
