Exquisitely pretty antique ruby and diamond crown ring comprised a pear-shaped facetted ruby with pink tones surrounded by 11 single cut diamonds.

The crown radiates upwards with four silver prongs topped with 4 diamonds grain set in silver. The patterned shoulders continue to a fine graduated band.

The band is a low rise, half hoop and stamped 15ct gold. The setting is open backed to allow pleasing refraction of light through the facets.

Circa 1860.

Band graduated from 3.09mm to1.14 mm wide

Stones set in silver.

Stones : Diamonds ( Estimated and graded in settings) 15 x0.10ct tdw, single cut, tinted brown, SI-I1 
Ruby: 1x 0.25ct pear-shaped size 5x3mm x 2.18mm

Condition : Very good condition commensurate with age.
