A very pretty oval front and back gold locket.

The locket is embellished with scrolls and floral engraving.

The front has a half shield-shaped cartouche suitable for adding an engraved monogram.

The edge of the locket has a “step up /step down “ border. The interior is fitted with one original photo frame. The glass cover is missing.

The top of the locket continues the scroll work decoration.

There is a simple circular bale to attach the chain.

The locket is Hallmarked Chester 1912. 9ct
