Antique Continental Fruit Wood Snuff Box with Painted Figure
A charming piece of Antique treen. The top is decorated with a hand painted figure of a brewer with an empty drinking vessel and the word Past.
The lid is hinged and the interior has the original green leather look lining and the top of the lid is abrasive for striking matches.
Great character piece. Circa 1850.
Dimensions : 7.5cm x 5cm.
Height: 1.8cm
Condition : There is some wear on the painted figure and a few surface marks and scratches commensurate with age.
Hinge is in good working order.
