Antique Continental Nouveau Silver Cutwork Ring
An unusual elaborately decorated silver cut work ring. Classic organic lines of the Art nouveau era.
The silver swirl centre was possibly intended for a name to be engraved. The pansy flowers symbolise loving feelings or admiration.
Certainly, a most skilfully worked and attractive ring.
There are 2 Continental marks at the back of the broad, decorative, tapered band.
In good condition commensurate with age.
Circa 1890.

The maximum width of the ring is 12.74 mm tapering to 6.55 mm at the back.
