Edwardian 9ct Carnelian Spinner Fob
A striking Edwardian Carnelian fob pendant hallmarked for Birmingham 1902.
Two particularly well coloured circular discs of carnelian, stones of motivation, endurance, leadership and courage, are set back to back in mellow rose gold .
A hinged section of rigid chain is topped by a small plain bail thread with a loop to attach to a pendant.
The hinge allows for the characteristic swing of the fob giving its descriptive name of a spinner.
There is a tiny border section(1.8mm) of the band setting of one of the stones that is partially missing ( see photograph) , otherwise, the condition is very good.
