Pretty Victorian oval silver earrings with a rectangular mounted panel decorated with an engraved bird on a blade of grass.

The main body of the earrings has a  ribbed,shell-like decoration.

A strip of silver balls on either side of the mounted panels completes the design.

The fittings are ball-tipped shepherd hooks for pierced ears creating an articulated swing.

The earrings are hollow to minimise weight.

Good antique condition commensurate with age.
