Early Victorian 18ct Yellow Gold Garnet and Pearl Double Drops Earrings.

Absolutely stunning Almandine garnet and seed pearl double drop , articulated earrings.

These statement earrings are a perfect combination of rich 18ct yellow gold, wine coloured garnets and sweet little seed pearls.

The articulation means they sway and swing with movement catching the light.

The seed pearls frame the garnets so that the stones stand out , particularly important if one has dark hair.

Each earring is comprised of an oval, facet cut garnet and a large teardrop facet cut garnet.

The surround is a crimped and scalloped mount with a chain-link style border. The outer edge of the earrings is a chain of gold balls with a further gold ball drop on the base of the earring.

The 18ct Continental style hooks are firm and secure.

The condition is excellent commensurate with age. Circa 1850
