An attractive 9ct Edwardian yellow gold heart-shaped locket.

Both sides of the locket are decoratively engraved.

The front is embellished with leaf-like scrolls and also has a blank shield-shaped cartouche suitable for adding an engraved name or initials.

The back is engraved with cross diagonal bands and ivy leaf engravings symbolising eternal love.

The back is also hallmarked for Chester 1909.

The interior has the original heart shape double picture frames and the modern perspex picture cover.

The plain bale is well sized to accommodate most neck chains.
