Late Georgian gold and silver earrings. Circa 1890
These pretty little earrings have silver mounts that are closed-back and grooved which was typical of this era.
The tops are set with diamond pastes in a rosette, or cluster, with a four-petal diamond paste element.
Below this is a faceted, amethyst paste oval stone encased in an open back drop surround washed with gilt.
