A highly decorative 9ct gold propelling pencil with a circular bloodstone seal.

The body of the piece is engraved with a deeply etched scroll and swirl design.

The seal is mounted on a corinthian column style top richly embossed with the appropriate designs.

The bloodstone seal is engraved with plenty of ruby red flecks and no apparent chips or obvious scratching.

The slide and propeller mechanism are sound but the lead does need to be replaced. 

A bale is attached by a quadruple ribbed sliding ring. The bale is of a size suitable to accommodate an appropriate chain.

Stamped 9ct.

In great condition commensurate with age.
