A very pretty ,ornately decorated 9ct gold front and back oval locket.

The perimeter is embellished with swirling scrolls and the central panels are engraved with symbolic ivy leaves to represent ever lasting love and fidelity.

The front has a blank, stylised ivy shaped cartouche which could be engraved with personalised initials.

The back is completely covered with engraved ivy leaves and is also minutely stamped 9ct FRONT & BACK.

The interior has the original gold photo frames in place.

A wonderful piece excellent condition commensurate with age.

The hinge and bale are sound.
