Georgian Rose-cut jargoon silver pendant
A lovely pendant, created in silver, which has been closed-back set with 42 rose-cut jargoons (white topaz, or colourless zircons) of various sizes.
The piece has been designed as a leaf, in pierced work silver.
The bail is on the verso of the leaf stem.
Possibly Portuguese Circa 1820
The pendant measures 5cm high x 3cm at the widest point.:
Metal: tests Silver
Stones: white topaz or colourless Zircon
Condition: one small crack in the silver at the bottom of one setting but very good for its age.
Variation in stone colour is typical of this era.
