A striking vintage, emerald-cut smoky quartz pendant set in 14 ct yellow gold.

This elegantly cut quartz is a translucent almost transparent golden brownish grey. The depth of the stone is accommodated with an extremely simple, open, four-pronged setting tapered down to an open square base.

A split bale is ready to thread a chain or even a cord or leather thong to be in keeping with the period of this piece.

There is something quite mesmerising about this deceptively simple jewel.

The condition is good, there are a few minimal “ nibbles “ on the edges of the stone, barely visible to the naked eye.
