A decorative oval Antique 9ct rose gold Back and Front locket.

The front is engraved with a Maltese Cross as a protective talisman but also to represent a person’s bravery, devotion and commitment to service.

The back is engraved with another cross like design incorporating a central diamond shape, plain free form panels and backing details filled with minutely detailed floriated patterns.

The interior is fitted with 2 original picture frames. 

One is plain and the other has a milgrain rim with a twisted rope frame.

The gold twist frame is covered with the original glass and the other is fitted with a perspex layer for protection. 

In very good condition.

The hinges are in good working order and the locket closes securely.
