A very ornate Antique silver double bar brooch. The open parallel bars are separated by a twisted rope strewn with flowers, dumbbells and hearts.

The bars are etched with Grecian Key engraving symbolising infinity, unity and the eternal flow of life. The centre of the brooch has an open heart with an ivy leaf at its centre.

Lots of symbolism here too with ivy leaves representing fidelity and tenacious love. The top and bottom of the heart have an arc with an applied silver flower ringed with silver balls.
