Antique 18ct Yellow Gold and Opal and Diamond Ring
Delightful handcrafted opal and diamond daisy cluster ring.
This Australian cabochon opal is fired with all the colours of the rainbow as it catches the light from different angles.
The surrounding 10 claw set, old mine cut diamonds add a bright and crisp contrast to the subtle glow of the opal. The triple split shoulder continues to half round band composed of a co-joined continuation of the three sections.
An early 20th Century piece in very good condition.
Please note the valuation mentions abrasions to the opal which has now been polished and is perfect.

The width of the band at the shoulder is 4.65 mm graduated to 2.3mm at the rear.
Stones: Estimated and graded in setting. Natural oval opal, cabochon cut. Size: 4.97 x 4.30 mm x 2.61mm.
Colours seen: Blue, green, orange, violet.
Diamonds: Old Mine Cut. 10 =0.65 ct tw.
