This brooch is from the design workshop Kupittaan Kulta which was started by Elis Kauppi along with Jorma Nurmi and Pekka Kivipuro in 1945 when Elis was 24. 

Elis was the lead designer and the distinctive anvil mark along with 925S can be seen on the back of this brooch. 

This is on e of Elis' earliest designs because they went on the add Finland after those two marks on the later pieces.

The influence of the Constructivist movement is apparent in this design and although made in about 1945 it has so much of the Art Deco era about it.
